Week 2 Day 5 Creatively crafting the experience of racing

The Race (Philippians 3:12-14)

Thankfully the race is a fairly contemporary sports metaphor. Consider which aspect of the race, you would like to highlight. Be creative. Don't forget to put your efforts online.

Creating a video individually and as part of a daily series such as this is a big ask - especially for those with no experience with video or don't like making them. Maybe you may prefer writing the script for a video that others might be able to use

Or finding other videos online and posting them. For example, this one on the character of marathon runner, Abebe Bikila.

Finding another video on a race - the amazing race, or an actual athletic event - and offering commentary on it, applying it to the christian life.

Here is a video for children, the challenge is make/ find a video relevant to fellow students.

You could organise a race or telematch based on the imagery of the race in the bible. Here is an example for teens. Again how could you modify this for students on your campus?

Organise online competitions eg song writing, essay/meme writing, crafting competitions based around the metaphor of Life as a Race.
