Introduction to the Slow Bible

God speaks through His Word and it changes our lives: our actions, habits, thought patterns and our inspirations. Gillian Wildgoose, founder of WORD UP suggests we “highlight a text, a version, posting a poem or photo in response to a text”. We hope to turn over each passage slowly in our minds for a whole week as we creatively respond to each verse through videos, song, art pieces, photography or any other medium available. The blog pages are to give you ideas on how to dig deeper into the text. Some pages may not resonate, the key is to allow the verses to inspire art, life, prayer, a mind change and a creative response.
